The IESG has received a request from the Audio/Video Transport WG 
to consider the following document:

- 'RTP Payload Format for iLBC Speech '
   <draft-ietf-avt-rtp-ilbc-04.txt> as a Proposed Standard

The document 

-  'Internet Low Bit Rate Codec'
    <draft-ietf-avt-rtp-ilbc-codec-04.txt>

specifies the codec for which this is the payload format, and will be
considered as an Experimental.

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action.  Please send any comments to the
iesg@ietf.org or ietf@ietf.org mailing lists by 2004-01-15.
