There's a good paper by one of the original authors at http://lrcwww.epfl.ch/linux-diffserv/ that will tell you how to go about marking traffic with
PHBs.

Hello everyone,
I'm new user using Linux DiffServ. I've some questions :
First : I'want to generate Traffic (TCP/UDP) using Linux but I cant find
a suitable tools to use which can monitore :  RTT, bandwidth use, and
drop.
Second : I'want to mark my traffic with DiffServ PHB which tool  let me
to do that.

Help me !
